Art Photography

Paul is building a portfolio of art quality photography of scenes from South Carolina, Tennessee, and elsewhere.  These works represent very deliberate attempts to capture a spectacular representation of the particular place. All things seen and unseen are created good by God. Here are photographs that depict a peak at that beauty to share with others. Paul attributes his an eye for composition, training in digital editing, planning, and patience to go back, all as gifts from God.

On March, 2007 and 2008 , Paul won First Place and Third awards from South Carolina Wildlife Magazine at the South Carolina Wildlife Outdoor Photography Print Exhibition, a featured presentation of Palmetto Sportsmen's Classic. He is a member of Trenholm Artist Guild . He is also an exhibiting member of Charleston Artist Guild. He has exhibited in many shows and other venues. He has been juried to be included into the Elizabeth Verner exhibition at the Marriot Hotel exhibition in Columbia, SC and Piccolo Spoleto, Vanishing Landscapes, at Charleston City Art Gallery, Waterfront Park, Charleston, SC.

The galleries:

Favorite scenes from Sewanee, and the South Cumberland Plateau in Tennessee: Paul has visited this area often in 2003, 2004, and 2005 to visit my daughter, who graduated from the University of the South, Sewanee, Tennessee.

Carolina Coastal Scenes: Paul has visited the Carolina Coast almost every summer during my whole life. Family and the beauty of the area continue to draw me there. Charleston is sprawling urban area. Some of the city do move the imagination. Out from the city the views become more embracing.

Central South Carolina Scenes: Paul is working on this collection from places close to his home. Images from the Congaree River and the Congaree National Park are here.

Flowers and other living things: Here is a collection of Paul's best photographs of plants and animals.

Come back soon. A number of new images will be added to these galleries by early summer.

Paul's images are on display for sale at the Mountain Works Gallery in Monteagle, Tennessee.

All images are copy written and may not be reproduced without written permission. Viewers may display these images on their personal computer exclusively for their individual enjoyment.

May God's peace be with you today.
